Sam Tress
Founding Partner
Sam combines operational savvy with astute business sense. With a keen understanding of real estate and hands-on experience, Sam oversees Montium’s operations and management, identifying deficiencies, maximizing profitability, and improving the tenant experience. With a long-term vision for the company’s growth and an enduring positive belief in company culture, Sam keeps Montium pointed towards success.

Ben Ferziger
Founding Partner
With a strong eye for hidden value, Ben oversees all aspects of acquisition strategy, including deal origination, due diligence, and transaction analysis. Through years in the industry, Ben has forged strong partnerships with investors and brokers, allowing him to close even the most complex transactions. Ben combines his industry knowledge with innate creativity to maximize investment returns.

Israel Mendlowitz
Founding Partner
Israel specializes in financial management and is responsible for the company’s growth and profitability. Leveraging an intuitive grasp of numbers and financial sense, Israel oversees all aspects of loan structure and lender relationships. Israel implements strong business and management practices, maximizing the efficiency and potential of the Montium team.

Shimmy Sanzer, CPA
COO
As COO, Shimmy keeps the company growing on an upward trajectory. With extensive experience in both real estate and accounting, he oversees all of Montium’s operations and accounting activity. A strong leader, Shimmy empowers each member of the Montium team, drawing out their strengths and cultivating a positive, collaborative work environment. Before joining Montium, Shimmy worked as an accountant at PWC and EY.

Elisheva Celnik
Vice President of Business Development
Charged with keeping Montium’s growth in line with its core vision, Elisheva researches, designs, and implements best practices at every level of the company, ensuring optimal efficiency. Elisheva has been with the company since its inception and has worked closely with the partners to cultivate a professional, inclusive culture. Prior to joining Montium, Elisheva worked for ten years in management and customer service.

Malki Hoberman
Controller
Malki Hoberman leads Montium’s accounting department, overseeing all reporting, reconciliations, accounting, and tax functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. A lifelong learner, Malki is always looking to acquire new skills to streamline and improve existing processes. Before joining Montium in April 2019, Malki worked for nine years in accounting, five of them in real estate property management.

April Dauterive
Vice President of Property Management
April is exceptionally skilled at leading diverse teams successfully, providing strategic support. An innovative thinker, April draws on 20+ years of experience in successful property management to drive better performance and efficiencies across the board. She mentors regional and property managers and has implemented a training center where she provides leadership and training to the teams. April holds a degree in accounting.

Alexis McManus
Human Resources Manager
Alexis directs Montium’s human resources department, providing guidance to all employees, hiring, and creating and overseeing personnel procedures and onboarding. A strong communicator and team player, Alexis addresses and resolves areas of concern for all employees, ensuring a safe and positive work environment across every level of the company.

Meir Munk
Asset Manager
As Asset Manager, Meir oversees the financial health of each property, ensuring it is operating within budget and that outcomes measure up to projections. He is responsible for the budget, variance analysis, cash management, quarterly reporting, occupancy, collections, rents, and streamlining processes for property-level financial operations. Prior to joining Montium, Meir was a senior accountant at Grant Thornton.

Ephraim Hoffman, CPA
Underwriter
Ephraim is responsible for underwriting acquisitions, refinances, and sales. He oversees acquisitions, coordinating the closing, and liaising with sellers. Combining analytics with technology, Ephraim ensures an efficient, error-proof process. After receiving his CPA license from the state of NJ, Ephraim spent four years with KPMG LLC, where he provided tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for asset management clients.

Benjamin Lapides
Project Manager & Director of Maintenance
Ben manages all CapEx projects, coordinates and implements maintenance policies and procedures, and trains maintenance techs. Ben brings over 20 years of field experience and thorough understanding of a property’s lifecycle to his role, successfully resolving difficulties and ensuring the signature Montium standard at all properties.

Shante Schwegel
Regional Property Manager
Shante oversees the Delaware, Pennsylvania, and X NJ properties. Shante brings 11 years of management experience and a degree in Accounting and Business Management to her position. Detail-oriented and focused, Shante works with the on-site staff to ensure each property is operating at maximum efficiency.

Lisa Sharrer
Regional Property Manager
Lisa oversees the Allentown area properties. Leveraging her strong leadership skills and team-building mindset, Lisa guides on-site staff, upholding Montium's standards of excellence and guaranteeing quality performance and tenant satisfaction at each property. A licensed real estate professional, Lisa has been in management for more than 20 years.

Howard Anemer
Regional Property Manager
Howard oversees Montium’s Northern New Jersey portfolio, overseeing on-site staff, and
ensuring the properties are in optimal condition. Dedicated and proactive, Howard
collaborates with management staff to ensure operational efficiency, budget
compliance, and most importantly, the satisfaction of all residents.

Dov Gottlieb
Regional Property Manager
Dov oversees all of the New York properties. Organized and meticulous, Dov creates and
institutes efficient, effective workflows designed to proactively prevent problems. Prior
to joining Montium, Dov worked at the Mark Hertz Company, a real estate services and
violation removal expediting company.
